Meet the First Homeowners at Shady Banks in Harpers Mill.
Meet Bridget and Kurt Light (pictured on left) and Karen and Gene Voss (on right). One couple has a new baby and wanted lots of great amenities. The other has grandchildren and were looking for a first floor master suite. So, what do they have in common? Well, they’re the first homeowners in the Shady Banks neighborhood at Harpers Mill. And they just go to prove that no matter what stage of life you’re in there’s the perfect home for you here.

Bridget and Kurt were looking for the perfect place to raise a family. They found out about Shady Banks on our website and decided they loved the “Southern Living” look of our homes and really loved all of the wonderful amenities found in Harpers Mill like the lighted soccer complex, amphitheatre, pools and splash park. And with a 4-month-old daughter, Berkleigh, they were also excited about the brand new elementary school located in Harpers Mill, Winterpock Elementary.

Karen and Gene had been all over Chesterfield’s new communities looking for the perfect home, but nothing seemed quite right until they found Shady Banks. They loved the “Newcastle” plan and said it’s just want they’d been looking for. They’ve also noted how pleased they’ve been with the personal attention they’ve received; from helping them design their new Florida Room, to the beautiful decorative tile and heated floors in their new master bath. Pictured here are Karen and Gene with their daughter Marty and her children Cameron and Grace who live close by in Hampton Park. Grace is looking forward to riding her bike to see grandma and grandpa.
